On Tuesday, September 6, 2022, the State of Michigan Attorney Discipline Board issued a Notice of Automatic Interim Suspension in relation to the charges for attorney discipline against respondent Muskegon attorney Scott Alan Mund for the latter’s no contest plea to a felony.

Respondent pleaded no contest to gross indecency between male and female persons case, a felony in violation of MCL 750.338B, in Case No. 2021-004920-FH entitled People of the State of Michigan v. Scott Alan Mund, filed before the 14th Circuit Court, Muskegon County on June 7, 2022.  Respondent plea was accepted by the court on the same day.

Accordingly, Respondent was automatically suspended from the practice of law on the date of his conviction.

This matter will be assigned to a hearing panel, upon the filing of a certified judgment of conviction and the interim suspension will remain in effect until the effective date of an order filed by a hearing panel.
