On Wednesday, April 3, 2024, the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board suspended attorney Mark D. Goldman’s license to practice law in the state. The order came after Goldman received a 30-day suspension of his Arizona license last September 2023.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Mark D. Goldman,” with case no. 23-106-RD.

As required by court rules, Michigan initiated reciprocal discipline proceedings and served Goldman with an order regarding the imposition of the same 30-day suspension on January 10, 2024. Goldman did not object to the reciprocal discipline or request a hearing within the 21-day deadline. Therefore, he was deemed in default.

On March 5, 2024, the Attorney Discipline Board formally ordered the 30-day suspension of Goldman’s Michigan law license. The suspension took effect on April 3, 2024, according to the Notice of Suspension. The board also assessed $1,500 in costs against Goldman.

According to avvo.com, Mr. Goldman is a litigation attorney in Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended the University of Michigan Law School, graduating in 1988. He acquired his law license in Michigan in 1989.
