On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted Adrienne Rogove Cohen permission to resign from the New York Bar for nondisciplinary reasons.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Adrienne Rogove Cohen,” with case no. PM-103-25.

Rogove submitted her resignation application with the support of the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department (AGC), which indicated it did not oppose her request.

Rogove swore an affidavit dated March 17, 2025, which was filed with the court on March 21, 2025. Following a review of the affidavit and subsequent correspondence from the Deputy Chief Attorney for AGC, the court determined that Rogove met the eligibility criteria for resignation without any disciplinary issues.

The court’s decision includes several key orders: Rogove’s resignation is now officially accepted, and her name has been removed from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law in New York, effective immediately. Additionally, the court has mandated that Rogove must refrain from practicing law in any capacity within the state, prohibiting her from appearing before any legal authority or providing legal opinions or advice.

Furthermore, Rogove is required to surrender any Attorney Secure Pass issued to her within 30 days of the decision. The order emphasizes her obligation to cease all legal activities and clarifies that she may not represent herself as an attorney in New York.

The Disposition states:

“ORDERED that Adrienne Cohen Rogove’s application for permission to resign is granted and her nondisciplinary resignation is accepted.”

According to the filing, Ms. Rogove acquired her law license in New York in 1995.
