On Monday, March 6, 2023, the Supreme Court of Ohio ruled on the Application for Retirement or Resignation of Florida attorney Kelley Andrea Bosecker, case no. 2023-0157.

Bosecker’s resignation came after the Supreme Court of Florida ordered the revocation of Bosecker’s membership in the Florida Bar, without leave to seek readmission on September 1, 2022. The revocation was in response to the petition for disciplinary revocation filed by the Florida Bar which sets forth Bosecker’s knowing and voluntary submission to the revocation despite pending disciplinary charges for unauthorized practice of law in that jurisdiction.

Bosecker now seeks to resign her law license in Ohio by filing her application for retirement or resignation before the Court.

The filing states that:

“The application was referred to disciplinary counsel pursuant to Gov. Bar R. VI(11)(B). On February 2, 2023, the Office of Attorney Services filed disciplinary counsel’s report, under seal, with this court in accordance with Gov. Ba R. VI(11)(B)(2).”

Accordingly, the Court ruled in favor of Bosecker and ordered that pursuant to Gov. Bar. R. VI (11) (C), Bosecker’s resignation as an attorney and counselor at law was accepted as a resignation with disciplinary action pending.

Prior to her resignation, Ms. Kelley Andrea Bosecker practiced in St. Petersburg, Florida. She graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law. Bosecker had been licensed in Ohio and Florida. Her info can be found on Avvo.com.
