On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, the Supreme Court of Missouri ordered the suspension of St. Louis attorney Christopher M. Comb’s license to practice law.

The case is titled In re: Christopher M. Combs, case no. SC99836.

The charges cited Rules 4-1.5(a) and/0r 4-1.16(d), 4-1.15(a), 4-1.15(a)(5), 4-1.15(a)(6)(B), 4-1.15(a)(7), 4-1.15(b), 4-1.15(d), and 4-1.15(f) of the Rules of Professional Conduct.

According to the filing, a stipulation and statement of acceptance of the Disciplinary Hearing Panel’s decision were filed before the Court by the parties. The Court found Combs have violated the above-cited rules of professional conduct.

The disposition reads:

“. . . this Court suspends the Respondent’s license for a period of one year from the date of this order. The suspension is stayed and Respondent is placed on probation for a period of two years from the date of this order. . .

Fee pursuant to Rule 5.19(h) in the amount of $1,500.00 payable to the Clerk of this Court to the credit of the Advisory Committee Fund taxed to Respondent.”

Prior to the suspension, Mr. Christopher M. Combs practiced in St. Louis, Missouri as a criminal and injury lawyer, and the principal of Combs Law Group LLC.
