On Friday, May 23, 2025, the Virginia State Bar announced the revocation of Attorney Joseph D. Lento’s privilege to practice law in Virginia, effective May 16, 2025.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Joseph D.Lento,” with case no. 24-090-132162.
The Disciplinary Board’s decision cited violations of professional conduct rules. Lento was found to have breached regulations governing diligence, client communication, fee structures, safekeeping of property, proper termination of representation, responsibilities of supervisory lawyers, and general misconduct.
The Virginia State Bar’s action prohibits Lento from practicing law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
