On Friday, October 31, 2025, the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board issued a notice announcing the interim suspension of attorney John F. Calvin, P 74477. The suspension was ordered by Tri-County Hearing Panel #62 and is effective immediately.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of John F. Calvin,” with case no. 25-38-GA.

The action stems from Calvin’s failure to appear before the hearing panel on October 20, 2025. According to the notice, satisfactory evidence was presented confirming that Calvin had received proper notification of the proceedings.

The hearing panel subsequently issued an Order of Suspension Pursuant to MCR 9.115(H)(1) [Failure to Appear]. Calvin’s suspension will remain in effect until further notice from the hearing panel or the Board.
