On Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the Presiding Disciplinary Judge of the Supreme Court of Colorado disbarred attorney Mark David Goldman. The disbarment, which will take effect on March 4, 2025, follows a pattern of misconduct that includes abandoning multiple clients and violating court orders.

The case is entitled “People v. Mark David Goldman,” with case no. 24PDJ088.

Goldman is currently serving a three-year suspension that began on October 4, 2024, as well as a thirty-day suspension that started on August 15, 2024.

This reciprocal disciplinary action stems from a ruling by the Arizona Supreme Court, which disbarred Goldman on September 4, 2024, due to abandonment of multiple clients’ cases. The Arizona judgment cited Goldman’s neglect of client cases, leaving them unrepresented and facing significant legal consequences, as well as his repeated disregard for court orders.

The ruling in Colorado aligns with C.R.C.P. 242.21, which mandates that the same disciplinary measures imposed in another jurisdiction be applied.

According to avvo.com, Mr. Goldman was a litigation attorney in Scottsdale, Arizona. He attended the University of Michigan Law School, graduating in 1988. He acquired his law license in Colorado in 1990.
