On Monday, September 19, 2022, the Supreme Court of Georgia ruled on the notice of compliance submitted by the Office of the General Counsel of the State Bar of Georgia relating to the disciplinary charges against Tifton attorney David Godley Rigdon.

The case titled ‘In the Matter of David Godley Rigdon’ was brought by the State Bar of Georgia.

According to the filing:

“The Court having reviewed the notice of compliance submitted by the Office of the General Counsel of the State Bar of Georgia, and it appearing that David Godley Rigdon (State Bar No. 689829) has satisfied the conditions for reinstatement as specified by this Court. . . “

The Supreme Court of Tennessee, in its Order, decreed:

“. . . it is hereby ordered that David Godley Rigdon be reinstated to practice law in the State of Georgia.”

According to Martindale, Mr. Rigdon earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia. He practices in Tifton, Georgia and he has been licensed in Georgia.
