On Friday, May 31, 2024, the Supreme Court of Maryland granted the petition for reinstatement to the Bar of Attorney Ferdinand Uchechukwu Ibebuchi.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of Ferdinand Uchechukwu Ibebuchi,” with case no. 67.

Ibebuchi had previously been removed from the register of attorneys. However, the court ruled in favor of restoring his ability to practice law after considering his petition as well as input from the Bar Counsel. Ibebuchi’s reinstatement comes with conditions, most notably that he must comply with the terms of a conditional diversion agreement reached on March 27, 2024.

With the court’s order, Ibebuchi’s name will once again be included on the list of licensed attorneys in Maryland. He will also be able to represent clients and practice law going forward so long as he adheres to the rules outlined in his agreement from earlier this year.

According to avvo.com, Mr. Ibebuchi acquired his law license in Maryland in 2005.
