On Friday, March 22, 2024, the Tennessee Supreme Court reinstated attorney James Ralph Hickman Jr.’s law license with conditions after being suspended.

The case is entitled “In the Matter of James Ralph Hickman Jr.”

Hickman had been suspended from practicing law in the state for one year beginning last June 30, 2023, with six months as an active suspension. He petitioned the Board of Professional Responsibility for reinstatement on February 15, 2024.

According to avvo.com, Mr. Hickman Jr. is a family attorney in Sevierville, Tennessee. He attended the University of Memphis – Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He acquired his law license in Tennessee in 1999.
