On Tuesday, September 3, 2024, the Supreme Court of Missouri granted Zackary Grant Smith’s petition for reinstatement to the Missouri Bar.
The case is entitled “In the Matter of Zackary Grant Smith,” with case no. SC100715.
Smith had his law license suspended for failing to pay taxes but provided evidence to the Supreme Court that the tax issue was now satisfactorily resolved.
The one-paragraph court order from Chief Justice Mary R. Russell reinstated Smith’s bar membership in good standing after his suspension. The short ruling found Smith had presented sufficient proof that the tax matter was taken care of allowing him to practice law again in Missouri.
