On Thursday, April 24, 2025, the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department granted attorney Tuaranna Renee Patterson’s motion for reinstatement to the practice of law. Patterson had been suspended since September 2024 due to violations of Judiciary Law § 468-a.

The court’s decision followed a thorough review of Patterson’s affidavit and supporting documents sworn on January 17, 2025, along with a response from the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Third Judicial Department dated February 24, 2025. The Disposition states:
“ORDERED that respondent’s motion for reinstatement is granted; and it is further ORDERED that respondent is reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law, effective immediately.”
