On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, the Supreme Court of Ohio ordered the reinstatement of Tiffin Judge Mark Edward Repp.

The case is styled Disciplinary Counsel v. Repp and was brought by Mark Edward Repp, under case no. 2021-0757.

According to the filing, on November 9, 2021, Repp was suspended from law practice for one year.

Repp’s suspension was based on his “impatient, undignified, and discourteous conduct” during a hearing in March 2020, when he jailed a woman spectator for refusing to be drug tested and held her in custody until she complied.

The Court found that Repp has complied with the Order and with the provisions of Supreme Court Rules for the Government of the Bar of Ohio V(24) and ruled in favor of the Respondent and granted his petition.

The Disposition reads:

“Therefore, it is entered by this court that respondent is reinstated to the practice of law in the state of Ohio.”

As of today, Judge Mark Edward Repp is serving Tiffin Municipal Court in Tiffin, Ohio. He has been licensed in Ohio, license no. 0058853.
